Roland JUNO-60 Soundfont SF2 $3.99. Instruments of the World Soundfonts $3.99. ORCHESTRAL Soundfont Presets $3.99. POP ROCKS Soundfont Presets $3.99. Da vinci acrylic paint brushes. Roland TB-303 Bass Synth SF2s $3.99. Soundfont Mega-Pack $9.99. Accordion Soundfonts SF2 $3.99. Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas General MIDI Soundfonts SF2 $3.99. Vintage Keyz Soundfont SF2. Patch93's SC-55 soundfont (which can be downloaded here) deemster's Roland SC-55 Presets soundfont over on the vogon's forums and of course StrikingUAC's own soundfont which can be found in the OP. So, which one do you guys consider closest to an SC-55 for getting the 'truest' sound possible when playing old games like King's Quest VI, etc.?

Roland Sc 55 Soundfont Download
hello!
here is a more or less complete roland sc88 soundfont. it was made by Mr Sannic on musical artifacts using a demo of Roland Virtual SOund Canvas Va.
you can get it here:
https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/538
note to foobar 2000 users: this soundfont may not be relivent because foobar supports the vsc core directly, which doesn't have the limitations of the trial version. just go to advanced prefferences>playback>secret sawse path and enter the path where vsc va is installed. if dun correctly, 'secret sauce' should be an option in the output plugins conbo box, and you can set it to sc88 mode by selecting it from the flavor combo box. this soundfont is for those who use other soundfont players like the basmidi driver or forks of dosbox that implement fluid synth.
Regards, Autoexecdotbat Hip n happy mac lip liner.
Roland Sc-55 Soundfont
In contrast to SF2 files for example, the SC-55 hardware uses both PCM synthesis and cut-down LA synthesis. For this reason, the SC-55's ROM is a mere 3.25 MB, while that soundfont linked above is a whopping 103 MB. Also, I have renamed the 'SC-55' soundfonts in the root folder to be more descriptive where possible, as their original filenames were too similar and confusing. Some included soundfonts do not have all 128 instruments, either due to being unfinished, or by design (like the DOOM SNES soundfont). My favorite soundfont for old DOS games. It uses samples from the original Sound Canvas-55 as well as Sound Canvas VA. It is General MIDI compatible, but it is NOT Roland GS compatible. The original download links seem to be dead, so I decided to mirror it here.
